Vasily Akulov's art transforms ecological fragility into powerful visual statements — where monochrome portraits of endangered species, vanishing forests and wounded landscapes become silent witnesses of the Anthropocene.

The project calls for attention to the threat of animal extinction and raises questions about biodiversity conservation and the ethics of reviving extinct species.

The project is in the collection of the State Udmurt Republican Museum of Fine Arts.
